Why did you choose your target language?

Scrabbin 1 years ago:

What factors did you consider when choosing the language you are studying? Usefulness? Career? Personal fascination for the language? Because it was easy or very challenging? To travel?

I work at a firm that does business with German relations. It would be nice to speak to German people in their own language without having to stutter over every next word...

I need to have more conversations in german because i live here now, and everyone around me just speaks English! I also want to practice being an English tutor, and i have a nice book with lots of fun exercises in English for whoever wants to learn it.

When you live in a international city, you have contact with many cultures, languages and people all over the world. To comunicate and exchange with other people is very interesting and it is easier to practice what you learned in the school, and it is also useful for jobs. So, it motivates me to learn another language, after 3 languages, I think is easier.
