Hello there and congratulations about this site!

First of all i would replace the "Katalan" language for "Catalan" which is the correct word for our language. Until you do that, it's difficult that catalan people joins your page because they won't find their language. And it would be great for a lot of catalan people to be able to exchange their languages with someone else...

The second thing, and this is more a thing that would help a lot but not strictly necessary: An app for iphone or mobile devices. This would help a lot as i am always travelling abroad here and there, so for me and other people in the same situation, it would be amazing to be able to connect to Scrabbin from their devices, and send/receive messages, talk by chat, don't know... just think about it.

That's all for today but i'll keep on thinking and i'll tell you if i've got some other ideas to share with you.

I've also seen that Livemocha offers the option of connecting to Facebook. You could do the same but expanding it, for example, it would be great to be able to invite your Facebook friends to Scrabbin, apart from publishing the scrabbin activity on the Facebook wall. I don't know if this is easy or difficult, but as strong as Facebook is right now, i think it would be a good option for you to grow fast and expand.

Another thing: I don't know how it could be made, but lots of Scrabbin users don't have a photo. This is a handicap because it's very difficult to talk or to connect to people that don't have a public face. The more confident and confortable we feel knowing about the other people, the more we'll be able to share. If the others don't even share a photo of themselves... Maybe you could promote it a little bit more.

Also it would be great to have a built-in chat to be able to talk in realtime to the other scrabbin users. Sending messages it's ok, but sending instant messages it's better, more live, you feel more connected to the other and that helps you teach and learn...

Don't know if you find this useful, probably you've already been thinking about all these issues, but i had to tell you just in case...

Another idea: It would be useful that everyone could made their language level public, wether on the learning and on the teaching languages. I speak catalan fluently and would like to know the basics of basque. This way an intermediate basque speaker can teach me the basics, and i can teach an intermediate catalan student the advanced use of my language. This way we all know who we can ask for help or who will not know enough to teach us...

Some of these options are available in other language exchange sites, maybe if you investigate deeply the other pages you'll find interesting ideas. Maybe you've already done that, i'm not saying that you have to copy them, but to use their ideas to form your own type of page with original options or an original new look at them would be great. They've also been inspired by other sites and webpages!
