I'm learning Russian now because I love the language and it is also useful in my work. I'm mostly learning at home in Norway, which means that progress is rather slow, but I'm planing to spend time in Russia during the next year. It can be useful and fun and interesting to communicate with Russian-speakers in writing, and to meet and talk to people when possible.

I'm a native speaker of Norwegian, and fluent in English (although I do make mistakes). I've lived in Marseille and Berlin for some months, and can get along in French or German (better than in Russian, but I hope that will change soon...). I'm fascinated by languages, mostly for the the magic of understanding and communicating in itself.
