Hindi is the most spoken language in India and the fourth most spoken language in the world. India is the world's most populous country with a rapidly growing economy. Hindi, along with English, serves as one of India's two official languages at the federal level.

起源と歴史

Hindi is an Indo-Aryan language descended from Sanskrit through Prakrit and Apabhramsha. It developed in its modern form during the Delhi Sultanate period and uses the Devanagari script, one of the oldest writing systems still in use. Hindi and Urdu are mutually intelligible in their spoken forms.
