Bulgarianについて

Bulgarian is the official language of Bulgaria, an EU member state with a rich history going back to antiquity. Uniquely among Slavic languages, Bulgarian uses definite articles (attached as suffixes) and has largely lost its grammatical cases.

起源と歴史

Bulgarian is a South Slavic language and was the first Slavic language to be written down, using the Glagolitic and later the Cyrillic alphabet. Old Church Slavonic, the first literary Slavic language, was based on the dialect spoken near Thessaloniki by Saints Cyril and Methodius. Modern Bulgarian has lost the case system found in other Slavic languages.
